Statement
Reelhouse is a general-purpose video hosting and browsing platform. Categories displayed on this site are configured by our administrators and are intended for general-audience and licensed third-party content — not for the publication of visual depictions of actual sexually explicit conduct as defined in 18 U.S.C. §2256(2).
Because Reelhouse does not knowingly solicit, produce, or publish primary content meeting that definition, Reelhouse does not act as a "primary producer" under 18 U.S.C. §2257, and is not, on that basis, required to maintain the records described in that statute or in 28 C.F.R. Part 75 for content currently published on this platform.
If sexually explicit content is identified on this platform
If content meeting the definition in 18 U.S.C. §2256(2) is ever found to have been published on Reelhouse — whether uploaded in error, mislabeled by a source, or otherwise — REPLACE_WITH_YOUR_LEGAL_BUSINESS_NAME will remove it upon discovery or upon receiving a report through our Content Removal / Illegal Content Report page, and will not knowingly permit such content to remain published without the recordkeeping this statute requires.
Records inquiries
Records related to any content that may fall under 18 U.S.C. §2257, to the extent any exist, can be inquired about via our Contact page (select "Legal" as the topic).

[ACTION REQUIRED IF APPLICABLE] — a platform that does publish sexually explicit content as defined above must, at minimum: designate a Custodian of Records; maintain age and identity verification records for every performer in every applicable depiction; display the Custodian's name and business address in the manner required by 28 C.F.R. §75.6; and comply with 18 U.S.C. §2257A's separate rules where relevant (e.g., for simulated content or certain secondary producers). None of that recordkeeping infrastructure is implemented in this codebase. Do not publish content requiring it without first implementing that infrastructure with attorney guidance.
